Based in our Derby office, we are looking for an experienced building control surveyor and building control manager to join our friendly team.

Building Control Surveyor

The ideal candidate should have excellent technical knowledge and plan checking skills, for both residential and commercial projects, alongside first-class customer focused inspection skills to enable on site compliance.

We pride ourselves on our customer service and support of our clients to enable them to achieve Building Regulation compliance.

As a minimum you should have

  • Full membership of CABE, RICS or CIOB
  • Excellent technical knowledge of both commercial and residential projects
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Conversant with relevant legislation, technical guidance and the CIC code of conduct for approved inspectors.
  • Full driving license

Building Control Manager

£ Competitive +bonus + benefits

Primarily office based, the ideal candidate would have first class technical knowledge, be conversant with the CICAIR Code of conduct and performance standards, and be proficient with the running of an ISO 9001 quality management system.

The candidates would be expected to oversee the surveying team, manage the workload and provide technical support on a wide range of residential and commercial projects.

As a minimum you should have

  • Full membership of CABE, RICS or CIOB
  • Excellent technical knowledge of both commercial and residential projects
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Conversant with relevant legislation, technical guidance and the CIC code of conduct for approved inspectors.
  • Full driving license
